ATTENTION

Effective January 1, 2026, the 550-hour and 650-hour massage therapy programs will be discontinued in response to recent amendments to the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia’s regulations concerning massage course requirements.

Please note that the 500-hour and 625-hour programs will continue without any changes. Thank you for your understanding.

500-hour Massage Program

The 500-hour massage program is meticulously designed to develop competent, professional bodyworkers while supporting students’ learning and personal growth.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess the skills necessary to administer a full-body relaxation massage. This comprehensive training will encompass a variety of modalities, including Swedish massage, deep-tissue techniques, connective-tissue therapy, sports massage, rehabilitative methods, and energy work.

550-hour Massage Program

In addition to the comprehensive 500-hour curriculum, the 550-hour massage therapy program incorporates supplementary courses focused on business operations. This enhancement equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to launch their own massage establishment more confidently and successfully upon graduation.

625-hour Massage Program

The 625-hour therapeutic massage program is an intermediate-level certification program. Graduates will develop a comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of the human body, alongside practical skills applicable to both wellness and therapeutic massage techniques.
This program aims to equip students with more knowledge and experience to excel in therapeutic massage.

650-hour Massage Program

The 650-hour massage therapy program builds on the foundational 625-hour curriculum by incorporating advanced instruction in kinesiology and an emphasis on relevant clinical conditions and pathologies. This program is designed to equip students with the professional competencies necessary to effectively address the specific needs of clients (chronic pain, disabilities, and post-operative recovery, etc).
Upon completion of the program, students will be better able to formulate personalized massage plans and deliver targeted massage therapy tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
